Welcome, Bienvenue!
If you are feeling worried, overwhelmed, sad, angry, or stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns despite all your insight and effort, you’re not alone.
You may have spent time trying to understand yourself, read books, tried therapy, and learned coping strategies, yet something still feels stuck.
I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. Together, we’ll go beyond coping skills and gently work at the root of what’s keeping you stuck, so you can create the lasting change you’re looking for.
What I love most about my work is supporting people as they experience lasting healing and begin to feel more like themselves again; calmer, more confident, more hopeful, and able to enjoy their relationships and life again. This is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.
My Approach
Healing happens best when you feel safe, understood, and accepted.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and personalized. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can slow down, breathe, and no longer feel like you have to carry everything on your own.
Rather than simply helping you cope, we’ll work together to understand your experiences, what has shaped you, and gently support your mind and body in finding a new way forward.
I use Somatic Experiencing (SE), a gentle body-based approach to healing trauma, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which helps us understand and heal the different parts of ourselves that have learned to protect us.
I offer therapy in both English and French for adults from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. I also welcome clients who wish to explore spirituality or religion as part of their therapy.
Education and Experience
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling and Spirituality and a Graduate Diploma in Couples Counselling from Saint Paul University.
With over 14 years of experience, I have worked at The Ottawa Hospital, supporting individuals, couples, and families through some of life’s most difficult moments as both a Registered Psychotherapist and Spiritual Care Provider.
I also partnered with the Ottawa Cancer Foundation, providing psychotherapy for individuals and families affected by cancer and chronic illness.
Today, I dedicate my work to my private practice, where I continue supporting adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and chronic illness.
Accessibility and Support
I know that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming.
My goal is to make the process of beginning therapy feel simple, welcoming and comfortable from the very beginning.
I offer virtual therapy during the day and evenings, making it easier to fit therapy into your life and receive support from the comfort of your own home.
Direct billing is available for many insurance providers, and most extended health plans cover psychotherapy provided by a Registered Psychotherapist.
Why choose me as your therapist?
Choosing a therapist is an important decision.
I believe healing begins in a relationship where you feel safe, understood, and accepted without judgement.
Clients often share that they feel deeply heard and supported in our work together. As therapy progresses, they begin to feel calmer, more connected to themselves, more confident in their relationships, and better able to navigate life’s challenges.
I hope that your life becomes a place where you don’t just survive, but where you begin to thrive.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to meet you. I invite you to book a free 25-minute consultation so we can get to know one another and see whether we would be a good fit to work together.
